Ok, this weeke is obviously not good for staying away from sugar. I am letting this challenge go and will start it again on Monday. If I manage it some days, fine. So this weeks goal is to move the furniture my neighbours gave me from their flat.

Hi redallie, good work jumping right in!
I did my 340 emails yesterday, and am well on the way today, however, I'm doing mostly easier ones, with a handful of harder ones thrown in. Later today I'm going to sit down and READ some of the harder ones, in hopes of getting rid of a chunk of them at one time. I'm also trying to delete instead of save, because just like with actual items, I'm always saving emails "just in case". At least they don't take up space in the apartment, but I'm guessing that at some point my email program will say I have too many and I'll have to delete them anyway--might as well do it now.

Well, I blew that. Had breakfast AND a bagel AND a cookie.
I'll try again tomorrow.
In other news, I got the fabric sorted, so I need another challenge for the rest of the week.

I think successful fabric / yarn sorting depends on the amount of space.you have free to put them in. My yarn is all neatly sorted into bags for projects, and cardboard boxes for everything else. My fabric, on the other hand is stashed all over the house in various carrier bags, because I do not have the space to put it all together. Doing reasonably well with my stairs challenge. I'm planning to try an online aerobics video today too to add a bit of variation. By the way, to all those who are trying unsuccessfully to give up or cut down on the sugar, I have a slightly odd idea... Candyfloss!! We have acquired a second hand candyfloss maker, and you can make an awful lot of candyfloss from two teaspoons of sugar. I know it's still bad for you, and totally goes against the idea of quitting sugar. However, and I can only speak for myself, but when there are chocolate bars, cakes, tins of quality street left over from Christmas etc lying around, it's very easy to get through a lot more than two teaspoons. Just a thought

We moved those two smaller cupboards from the flat and my parents dismantled one of the wardrobes. Tomorrow we will dismantle the second wardrobe. The fridge has already been moved on Sunday.

Bobolink, you got your fabric sorted? I can't imagine having mine sorted. Good for you!!! Maybe you have more than I do? I could probably open a fabric store I bought more today. 6 pieces of fleece, denim for a jacket and batting for a chair seat project. Now I need to get busy. The fleece is for gifts for next Christmas. It was less than $2.00 per yard today. I can make a really nice looking scarf for less than $1.00. My plan is to make these over the next 6 weeks while it is still cold outside and put them away for Christmas.

The second wardrobe is dismantled and we took the first few parts of them to the basement. More will follow.

Swept kitchen floor today and picked up coffee table. The kitchen table is still a horror of piles of 19th century deeds. I think I will try to get back into those piles tonight and then straighten up before bed.
I tried to install the center post in the barn shed today, but failed. I brought home a piece of rebar and after 30 minutes of bending and hammering, I think I have a solution to the concrete breaking out on me. We will see tomorrow.

Despite more rain, I think I am on track to finish up my two outdoor clean up projects. I got chased in by rain today, but tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and warm. My next project is going to be Kitchen....will start on that Saturday or Sunday. I am going to do one wall a day....including cabinets or whatever is on that wall. I have a glass door cabinet in the kitchen that is a catch all. I recall looking for something I had put in one of the cabinets and couldn't find it, so took everything out....finally found it, and I couldn't even fit all the stuff back in there again. So since that covers one entire wall, I will spend a whole day straightening it out and organizing the things that go in there. I am actually looking forward to doing that.

I attempted the kitchen table last night, but just couldn't do it. I will try again this morning.
