I had to to see my parents kind of suddenly this past week. It was a little stressful. I did catch up on the basics yesterday. At least an hour on kitchen, laundry, groceries. Back to work today. Vyas, you sound like you are making progress! Keep it up! Sorry about the grease disaster, creativechaos. Good for you for getting it cleaned up right away. Keep defending your areas! Mynicehome, great work on the basics and on clean glass doors everyday! Di, you are so caught up! Maybe we should do a hobby/creativity challenge!

Sorry about neglecting my posting for the past couple of days. I've been keeping up. My dailies are done for today and the first of three loads is in the wash.

Did the scooping yesterday but not the vacuuming or window wiping...things looked okay enough! Spent about twenty minutes or so wiping down the bannisters in the front hall. The top piece is wide and several cats usually lay there. Did the regular dailies today. How are things going with you grasshopper and 1rarebeautifuldove ?

Well, mynicehome, I took a few days off! I didn't even try to do my 20 min on my work days this week! And it wasn't as though I didn't have time. I guess I'm feeling stress about my aging parents. Yesterday, thanks to creativechaos, I did 20 min starightening up the kitchen and getting the clothes off the bathroom floor and just generally picking up. So it was a lot less depressing this morning! I took a walk today on the river with my dog. Good job on the bannister mynicehome! I think when you start doing something everyday it starts to take up a lot less time! I happen to know from chat that vyaspigeon is working really hard! She is making such great progress on deep desqualoring that she has probably forgotten about this thread for now. I'm hoping to get some of her residual motivation!

I've been going along. I did get some sweeping done. Been keeping up with things better. I worked on the car today, both cleaning it and filling a bag with trash. The back seat looks good. Now I just have to clean out the front passenger side and the truck will be uncluttered. I know it was a good 20 min on the car.

Way to go on maintenance lassies! All my scooping, vacuuming and window wiping is done. Started poop-scooping outside but it began to rain, so did yesterday's dishes instead.

Great work cleaning the car vyas! I know you have been working hard!
You are very consistent mynicehome! Good for you. I am getting there.
1st 10 min washing dishes/cleaning kitchen.
2nd 10 min swiping counters in kitchen and starting laundry.
3rd 10 min taking garbage and recycling out. Shredding papers. Starting to clear off end table.
4th 10 min vacuuming. Time for a new vacuum cleaner. It sounds like a steam engine!
5th 10 min brushing dog.
6th 10 min paying bills. Finally! I was in a procrastination spiral on this one this month.

I did actual cleaning today!!! 2 counters in the kitchen are much nicer and are actually functional as food preparation places now. (even though there is still things cluttering the counters.)
Yesterday, I got the trash and bottles out. Today I also did some pruning on the porterweed outside so it will bloom better. The one I already did is already coming in like gangbusters! I will soon have happy happy butterflies!!!

Great work 1rarebeautifuldove! You too grasshopper and creativechaos. Every ten minutes counts!
All my dailies are done. One of my dogs is starting to shed now and it won't be long before everyone is. Vacuuming will definitely be a daily must at that time. Also did a little poop-scooping but the yard was so slippery I didn't get it all.

I dusted a bit today. I know it was more than 20 minutes. But I am trying for balance.

Cleaned up in the kitchen and did a load of laundry.
Sounds like you are still going strong vyas! Good for you!
Nice work on the dailies, mynicehome! My dog is shedding too. I'm getting a little better about brushing her regularly since I started this thread.

I have been doing more cleaning and dusting each day. Got some laundry done on Monday. Folded and put some clean laundry in the bedroom that was sitting in the living room on Sunday. Yesterday, I dusted another shelf with books (and all the books).

I didn't desert this thread, ! Been away for a couple of days but DS took care of the scooping and probably vacuumed one day at least. I'm back on track, everything is caught up again. Tomorrow is garbage day so I have to get all the bags of dirty litter together along with our regular trash and out to the end of the driveway. Recycling went out this morning.
Good work grasshopper and 1rarebeautifuldove! You've both been working well on your dailies and other maintenance too!
