Oh dear ohblondie, thank goodness the house sale is almost over with. I hope that waiver is legal and air tight because the owner sounds like someone who will throw that last stuff out and assume you won't be able to do anything about it, waiver or no.
When is your retirement date again? I think you will need a month of sleep.
The garbage can I took outside is the kind that fits a kitchen bag, so not large. And plant stems are unwieldy unless you chop them up into tiny bits, so I didn't fit that many in the can. In fact, you can't even tell that I cut anything down. But, it didn't take long so if I keep doing this over the next week when it will still be 40s out, I will eventually get all the stems cut. This is an area next to the front porch where I let the woody nightshade grow into a giant bush, it looked (to me, anyway) really pretty. But now it's dead and a tangle of brown branches. It's a perennial, so will come back next year unless I try to pull it out by the roots, or maybe cut down into the roots with a saw like the handyman did with the lamb's quarters. Although lamb's quarters are annuals, he cut down into the root because I said I didn't want to trip over the stumps if he just cut down to the ground.
Anyway, I would love to put zinnias out there this year but I don't have a hose connection in the front of the house and I can tell you right now I will not be dragging buckets of water around the house when it's 90 degrees out. So, maybe there will just be woody nightshade there again next year, it grew just fine without any watering even though we had a drought in the spring.
I stopped for lunch and a tv break.
I am having the hardest time finding another series to watch. I gave up on Deadloch because they introduced an obnoxious character that apparently was supposed to be funny, but was not. Then I started a series about a serial killer but the obvious first victim had a cat, so I rejected that one, I know what will happen there. Then I tried 2 different police procedurals which were just plain boring. Then I started what sounded like an interesting series but in the first 10 minutes the main character goes to stay at what looked like a summer house and discovered a dead animal carcass hanging near his front door. (WTF?) I just want a good police procedural with interesting characters and story lines where anything gory is with the human victims, not animals. Is that too much to ask for?

Hello !!!
Did dailies. Folded laundry and did a little more.
Did a bunch of Geometry in Math book.
Carolyn called, upset that Larry fell, but he is OK.
Talked with my BFF in CT.
Processed mail.
Brought down humidifier from attic, but it is not working well. Tomorrow, I will look up directions; it was working fine when I packed it away.
My best to all.
