Well, my new DGGD was born this morning---and she is perfectly healthy after all !!! And very cute too. Her big brother will be 20 months old tomorrow. I do feel blessed about this.
Did the dailies, had my hair cut, paid 2 bills by phone, and finished and mailed thank-you notes for Masses and prayers, etc., for my son, Tim.
My best to all.

Ok, chased up another job lead, I really don't know why I've let the situation run on for so long.I A few minutes PEEP and put dry dishes away, & updated the CV to adjust it for the other job With breakfast down my gullet now I'm going to at least go out for a walk, the greenhouse at the allotment needs watering and I need to get outside before I turn into a hermit.

Good morning! I only got around 5 hours of sleep last night but I feel optimistic today and hope to be productive.
Bree, poor puppy! Today they will take care of her problem and she can feel better, anal gland problems have to be painful.
Oust, I wish I could see you tooling down the road on your scooter! How nice to see something different, not to mention free food!
Yesterday the forecast said rain on and off today and tomorrow, now it seems like the rain won't start until late afternoon and tomorrow will mostly be dry. I guess I can't rely on any forecast, so I will just wait and see what happens! It's hot again today before several much cooler days, so maybe I can do a little in the yard but not too much. I at least have to fill up the last quarter of the yard waste can so it can go out this afternoon.

Congratulations catcats!
My ADHD brain is in full mode ... I started shuffling things from room to room. I got most of it done but of course didn't finish Now I am sitting here wanting to pull out my shoe bin and get that organized It is so hard for me to finish one project before the next
Yesterday I woke up and had absolutely no idea what day it was!
I helped my former church set up for a rummage sale. I will help again today
My car's oil light went on. Thank goodness for my son the mechanic, he got my car this am, figured out it was an O ring and will have it back shortly.
Ok. Time to finish my cup of coffee....

After my last list I went out to the back yard for an hour. It was hot already, but I wanted to get as much in the yard waste can as I could. Last time the handyman did tilling I waited for the clumps of grass to dry so I could shake off as much dirt as I could. This time, not only do I feel my yard time is more limited, but it's going to rain tonight, which means starting all over to let it dry. Plus, the more dirt I shake off the more grass roots I'm shaking off which will grow again in the plot, and, I'm going to be ordering a load of dirt to be delivered so I will have plenty. So I threw a lot of the grass clumps directly in the yard waste can--especially since I now believe that they really do compost it, it felt like it was a wiser use of my time than to sit and try to save a little bit of dirt.
Oh, and when I came in from the yard I moved the laundry to the dryer.
I took the can to the street already although technically it's too early, it's heavy and I didn't want to go out later to do it when it will be even warmer. Tomorrow goes down to 70, then 65, then three days of 50s, which will feel good.
Now I have to rest and cool off.

catcats congrats on the baby!!! So glad she is healthy. Enjoy. She will be a great blessing as you grieve your son I will pick up puppy in about two hours. she is doing well. they could not get all of the abscess out though, that concerns me, vet said it would be too traumatizing to her internal tissue. so she will be on antibiotic and anti inflammatory drugs. and a cone... poor pumpkin. can't wait to bring her home. I had the dreadful meeting...this one colleague is a bad seed, she has maybe personality disorder(s) or is evil. I know it sounds extreme but she is creepy and she lies, just being near her makes me feel ugh. We have reported her to three offices but nothing is done. she is an outright liar. here is an example -- four of us were meeting. during the meeting evil one was texting an attendee bad stuff and lies about my staff member who was speaking saying he was incompetent and lying.. Person getting the texts of course told me....this is just a minor example of the dark way she acts. a meeting coming up. I did move some laundry and cleaned a bit of the bathroom and played NYT games for lunch now for meeting prep. I am feeling so uneasy from my meeting and knowing that more are to come with this person

Well I did deal with the shoes. I dumped the bin out, matched up shoes and packed them back in. I tossed several pai, found one missing shoe and found some new with tags shoes to donate. the bin is back where it belongs. And I vacuumed up where I needed to
I am sitting and catching my breath -
My son had my car back in record time. God bless him. I went and got him a red bull and his boss a chocolate milk
I have a meeting at 6pm. debating going in jeans. They are dark and on the dressier side. A nicer shirt would help.
Between now and meeting - I will toss in a load of laundry and find five more items to donate to my DD's yard sale

Yay, ohblondie is decluttering!
I ended up going back out to the yard, I think I was out around 45 minutes this time, it got very grey even though it wasn't supposed to rain yet and I thought it would come earlier, but no, the sun came out again. I did a little weeding but couldn't stay on my knee for very long, so I cut up some more branches and got one more bucket of stuff for the yard waste can.
I feel like I need a mini "donut" for my knee--like a hemorrhoid cushion but to cushion my scraped knee!
My internet is going in and out again--mostly out, and the storm hasn't even started yet!
