Today, I emptied a box in the craft room. I also found another bag of beads, which I sorted what I could. Some already had been sorted at an earlier time. The packages of beads went into an empty bin which I will take to the thrift shop.
I also broke down a box.

Thanks! The funny thing is, I have *no idea* what was in them all! I know I donated a bunch of clothing...I unpacked a pile of china...the 2 black bins held toys...but where did 27 bin's worth of stuff go??? Uh, I do have clean laundry sitting on the machine, with nowhere to put it - I'd better get on those closets. Time for a "C" thread, maybe? 1rarebeautifuldove You're an inspiration! I really love your attitude about releasing things so that someone else can enjoy them. That's what I try to do too, while I'm fighting my hoardy thoughts. And I *love* that you're donating the bins along with your stuff! I told DH I wanted to save mine, sigh. But I'm going to pack up my current donations in bins. Thank you for that!

cyn I totally understand fighting hoardy thoughts. I fight them too. I looked at those beads, while I was separating some out, so that it would make a nicer donation, with packages of sorted beads. And I thought, I wonder if while these are still here I could maybe make a bracelet. I even looked at the ones already in the bin, that had been sorted... But then I realized that if I was graced to make bracelets. (Other than the special ones that I made --- I had made a few bracelets with charms to tell about God's promises) and bought special charms for those. Then shared the bracelet beads and charms with the ladies at church so everybody could make a bracelet.) If I was graced to do this, I would see the patterns. No, far better to just buy a couple at the thrift store. Even at $3 each, it is cheaper than my time to make them. The funny part of this is that when I went to the thrift shop. Because I want more calendars. I still have 6-7 but I want more. OK. Not there yet. What if I run out of them, and I still have stuff. I did find 2 calendars there. Also, I bought a couple bead bracelets and other costume jewelry bracelets --- and the sales girl gave them to me for $3 for all of them!!! I think there are about 5 that I got for $3. The two calendars that I bought - I am not crazy about. They are more "just in case". I think I need to TRUST that there is an abundance of old calendars which are perfect for my game. That when I am ready for them, or close to being ready for them, they will show up for me to use. And more than enough, so that I can pick and choose the ones that I want. I even managed to share some of my precious stickers with V's daughter, for HER to use and enjoy. And I used some of them on 2 boxes that I sent. I have had to tell myself if I am in a store that sells them, like a Dollar Store (best place to get them btw), that I have plenty. Although there are times, I simply could not resist. I have also had to tell myself from time to time, when I catch myself want to "save" a particular set of stickers, "save them for what? You are playing a game. Stickers are the scoring tool. There are thousands of stickers available to buy. Use them. Enjoy them. Have fun with them." I even used some of them on V's cards and envelopes, because when is a better time to use them. Oh yes, I want the bins to go. I don't need them. I have 2 empty ones that will be used to send things in to the thrift shop. I also do not need the temptation to fill them with "something." I think a "C" thread would be fun - my closets need work too. I like the idea being able to get extra credit by posting under C for closet as well as on my own blog and liszilla.

Finally got the shelves up in the doom room yesterday and reshuffled yesterday. Today ive been unloading boxes on the shelves and arranging them, not perfect-final but good enough. So far today ive emptied 9 boxes, 5 bins and 4 shopping bags. 1rarebeautifuldove you are doing great! cyn i love the idea of a "c" thread. Im not ready for that yet but go ahead and start one. I will cheer you on (as soon as i get caught up on my blog reading, ive been very behind in that).

Thanks for sharing your thoughts 1rarebeautifuldove. Your generosity shines though and seems to be a good motivator for you. I am able to do that sometimes. I say to myself, "someone else can use this thing RIGHT NOW" and that's better than my "someday". Good job on those shelves Unswamping. That's an impressive number of boxes, bins, and bags. I didn't do any bin, bag, or box work today except to consolidate some more of the tool type stuff and free up two milk crates. I have 3 bags of clothes and one bin of tools ready to go to donation.

angela - yes, and like me, we both need to learn to trust that when our someday that we want to do something, or really are ready to do something, that all that we need and want will be there available to us, for us. It will be the perfect one/ones that we want/need too. I am not saying to do this with everything. Like the little paints for my friend's wedding. That was for a specific project. There was a time, not too long ago, that I would have kept it "just in case." But, now, no, I can look at it and say "this will likely go bad before I use it." Having last summer gotten rid of little paints that went bad from being forgotten about, because they were stashed somewhere by someone in my family. Even right now I have cans of paint that were left in the hot sun, that I have opened (couple weeks ago) so they could begin to dry out. So I can get rid of the cans. By the way, thanks for that idea. To simply open them, so they can dry out for departure. I appreciate that. Unswamping - thank you for your encouragement. angela - Great job on the milk crates. And consolidating and sending a bin of donations.

All you B-Busters! I did some shopping yesterday, and made sure that *all* the bags were emptied & put away, before I headed off to work. This place is looking so much better, for so many reasons - but me putting the brakes on my shop'n'drop habit might be the biggest change. I can really get out of hand in that area, so putting the stuff away, right away, makes a world of difference in this little house.

I did it - I deBoxed my first closet! I've already packed 2 of them up, to be donated tomorrow. I've got everything out of the house that's going, and after lunch I'm going to pack up the porch. I've also got 4 Bins ready, to hold those Boxes. There's a Box Hill in my hallway atm, .

8 Big Bags of Trash went out TODAY!!!! Along with a Blue Kiddie Pool, a Blue Bissel Sweeper, 3 rolls of yucky carpet, a Broken pet crate... They TOOK IT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy!!! This is IN ADDITION to the 3 Big Black Bags that my mom took to the Dumpster in Town, the 3 little Bags of stinky Blue carpet, the 3-4 MORE Big Black Bags that went to her house on Sunday to go out for Monday morning's pick up from there. So, from Last week, I only had about 3 bags that were in process of being filled. So that plus 5 plus all of the above went out today!!!!!!!!!!!! I am getting things from around the out Building, in the Garage, the master Bathroom and Shower. Today I noticed there are 2 blue bins that I think I can fit into Garbage Bags that are BROKEN. So That will be great to send off next week.
