If its dirty I leave others things and tell them after this is why I left this etcOkay, that's what I figured you might do. I always wonder, if I had an alarm system in my home would they still make me so nervous? Probably not, because I'd be used to calling the company if something went wrong. I'm always afraid of pressing the wrong button and then having the alarm go off and not being able to stop it. Of course, it doesn't help when you have an absentminded family. This is the same family that takes the dog to the groomer for the day and forgets to tell the dog walker not to come. Okay, I have finished lunch, and now I need to do something even though I would like a nap right about now. Next: Clean up from lunch Cat feeding 10 minutes on LR 10 minutes on plants Diane

Pomeranian/Husky mix? That can't possibly happen naturally.... How much work is it to pick up a pile of poop? Speaking of cleaning people, I heard the vacuum out in the hallway so I stuck my head out and confirmed that they would not be spraying any perfume around the hallways--they said they wouldn't, but I swear when I opened the door I smelled an very faint perfumy odor already--I wonder if it's in the wash water that they use as well as whatever they spray around. I figured that having someone actually come out of an apartment and remind them not to use perfume would probably help them remember that our building asked not to use it. Diane

Good afternoon everypony!
somehow I have spent the last three hours on the computer. I guess its because the next task require a shower, and I am avoiding that semi-consciously. I will go do that next.

Good afternoon scholar!
Well, I keep running into problems that delay my getting the living room done. The next thing sitting on the mantel in my PEEP around the room was a book that I set aside a few weeks ago. Apparently it is worth 25 dollars! However, there are only 2 places buying it and neither is one I used before. That means figuring out if they are legitimate, making sure they have policies that I can adhere to and a shipping method that works, making an account, etc. So of course, I put it off and the book has been sitting there. Fortunately, when I checked it today it's still worth 25 dollars (often the books that they want change from day to day, or the amount they will pay changes). So in order to get this book out of the living room I knew I needed to figure out how to sell it. I researched the two places that will buy it, chose one, made an account, got all the way to the last page "complete your buyback"--and when I click the button nothing happens. No error message, it just doesn't go to the next page. I tried backing up and trying again, doesn't work. So I had to send in a request for help.
Sometimes it seems like everything has an issue. That's why I put off the things that seem like they're going to be complicated.

Put dry laundry away Put step stool away 10 minutes on LR 10 minutes on plants

how frustrating, Diane!
I ran into a roadblock myself, in that velcrocat decided to take a nap in the suitcase I was going to video myself unpacking! ! So I took some funny pics of that. Then got in the shower, got dressed, and am doing my makeup. It was "time" for his 6:00 treat (according to him; its only 5:30) so I can carry on.

I realized I was hungry while waiting for my hair to dry, so now I've probably messed up my lipstick
started watching the news, but remembered I have stuff to do, so tore myself away and started to set up for the video shoot. I will be relieved to get that off my list. Haven't heard from DPs in CA today, hope they are okay. DB is on a hospital grid downtown, away from hills and fire danger, so theoretically he still has power. But I suspect there are going to be some repercussions from a million unhappy campers.
ah, DPs just texted me there were out charging their phones.
Okay I need to just get started, then I will be okay.

Scholar, I read about that power outage, how weird.
Well, I'm counting today as a loss, I'm just not getting anything done. I got another call from my decluttering client, and then I saw that the USPS had returned my email about the glitch on their website. It took them 3 days to answer, and the answer was "this is a known problem on our Postal Store site, please call the customer service line to order your stamps." Well, couldn't they have said that 3 days ago? So when I got the email I didn't know if they would still be answering, but I wanted to try, so I called. I was on hold for about 15 minutes, but they finally answered. What an annoying phone call--there was some kind of clicking noise going on so I could hardly hear the person I was speaking to, and when I would ask for a title of a type of stamp, she kept murmuring as though it was taking her forever to find it--then she repeated the 6 digit number that relaated that title, as though she was writing it down. Then she repeated it again, as though she was putting it into the computer.
Now--I'm sure they must get several people who order stamps on the phone instead of online--are you telling me they don't have everything in the computer so they can just click on things? She sounded like it was a difficult job to take my order.
Anyway, along with all this, my cat is having constipation problems today. So I have to follow him around and watch what he's doing.
I need to get dinner now, and then get ready for bed.

I finished eating dinner, and then I worked for a little bit on the basket I took out of the plant room. While I was on hold with the post office, I tried to empty it out and put things in categories, so now I was able to throw away and put away a few things. The other things in the basket are shipping supplies like packing tape, and they are dusty and need to be brushed off with a stiff brush so I can use them. I'm going to do that now, so I can put the basket back in the plant room--except I'm not sure where there's room for it. I would like to finish at least one thing today, so I'll figure it out. I can't believe how long that basket has been ignored--I found loose bird seed in there, which means it's been since before the pigeon died.
Next:
Clean up from dinner Wash out basket Clean up shipping supplies Give everyone fresh water

Def6. None of my mansions look like that!
My hand steamer is working well still, but I have destroyed a brush that goes on it. They did give a spare.
Can't believe I got rid of 49 things today. Wish I could every day.

Hi Diane! Yes, I don't think Pomskys occur naturally. Also Fast food napkins (like ones from McDonalds) work great to get up puppy accidents. Not so much done on the house besides maintenance today. At least I managed to keep the house from turning into a disaster.
