Hi Diane! I just rolled a 3, but I already completed 10. I will do a 9 instead. I'd like to go out for a walk while it is warm and sunny. I'm changing the rules as I play. I rolled a 4. That takes me to the dining area again. I also have laundry in the dryer to take care of.

Ally, what kind of clothing is in your laundry room--is it things that people wear but haven't been put away yet? Or old clothing that you haven't been able to decide to get rid of?
Next rolls: 7 & 9: 10 minutes fridge cleaning (my least favorite...) and 10 minutes plant room cleaning.

desposito, It's a huge pile of old clothing, some of it belonged to my daughter, some I just don't wear anymore, some I could still wear, but it's buried...there are also towels, pillowcases, old sheets socks or gloves that might not be paired up, etc. I do sew, and some of it I had planned to repair, or donate, or repurpose... .. I have problems with textiles. I'm one of these people who think I can reuse something, or if I donate, I have to do it perfectly. The pile is getting smaller... I am making progress slowly. Ha! And just before I read your question, I was getting sucked into participating in a quilt along. (I already have a few projects partly finished. I don't need to start another now!) Now I've forgotten what I rolled! I'm moving on to #1 the kitchen. I will do #11 while I am there.

if I donate, I have to do it perfectly.
Oh, I know that feeling! It makes it a lot easier to part with something if you think someone else will use it. I guess some of it is being realistic--if the item is in good condition and donating it doesn't cause TOO much effort (or delay) then it's worth it. If it's borderline or you have to spend hours finding a place for it (or it sits in your home for years), that's where amnesty comes in. It helped me to say that once I got my home in order I would be able to do a much better job of donating/recycling, and I actually am right now. There was a time I couldn't--holding on to a lot of stuff just clogged everything up and frustrated the efforts.
Okay, my next 2 rolls: 5 & 6, pack a trading book to mail, and 10 minutes organizing my food storage area.

Sorry desposito, I never replied to you last month... I want to spend 10-15 minutes decluttering in several different areas. I'm going to pick 6 areas to work on. 1. Kitchen 2. Upstairs bathroom 3. Downstairs bathroom 4. Dining Area 5. Living Area 6. Bedroom 1st roll: 2: Upstairs bathroom. I might just box up everything in there that doesn't belong in there. to deal with it later. There is stuff in there that I just don't know what to do with.

@despisito I started going through my upstairs bathroom... I cam across multiple packages of feminine hygiene products (I used to buy them at big-box stores). I had a hysterectomy 14 years ago. Back then, I had thought my daughter would use this stuff, but she didn't want any of it. I went into the downstairs bathroom. There were more packages. It's time to get rid of this stuff. I need to figure out what to do with it all, because I'd rather not throw out.

Ally, feminine products are highly valued at places that help homeless people or at women's refuges. I don't know if you have any places like that near you, but basically they are happy to receive any toiletries. I'm guessing food banks would be too, provided they also pass out other things than food.
Next roll is 2, which is, repot a plant.

desposito, I have to admit, I am quite shocked at the quantity of feminine hygiene products I have found. (I am digging back under my sink in places that haven't seen the light of day in 20 years.) (Sometimes I don't think I am a hoarder, but clearly I am.) As I type I see a box of panty liners on a shelf across the room. I needed to get away from it for a few minutes, so I planted some peas that have been soaking for a couple of days. And got the mail. I am going to try to sort through the items and decide what can be donated and what should be discarded.
