TML, I've been watching a Hallmark movie just about every day--and they are still running until January 1st, plus I have several of my favorites saved on DVR. There are other things I watch on YouTube though, music videos and street musicians, mostly. Another place that I can get lost on if I'm not paying attention.
I had lunch and took the dog out again.
Next:
10 minutes on plants
Sterilize dish sponge and wipe out microwave Wash some dishes Delete 30 emails

I just finished recording all the books I've read at the book site, there were 3 months worth since I caught up with that task for the challenge. I think I beat my record for number of books read this year--being retired makes a difference even though I would still like to spend more time reading than I do.
I'm going to get ready for bed a little early tonight, good night everyone, see you tomorrow in the weekday thread!

Still trying to get rid of the headache that I've had all day. It is much better. dtesposito I'm so glad that you are having more time to read in your retirement. I used to love to read. Now, I get absorbed in movies more often than books. Made the soup part of Matza Ball Soup... well, it is cooking, anyway... Moved launddry load to dryer DS seems a little better, today... but he is still only on a liquid diet. Just received word that DMil is in the hospital, again. She had AFIB, already, and now is in Congestive Heart Failure and has pneumonia. CD |

Hello! We survived Christmas!! : ) It was a nice but busy day. I wrapped the gifts, DD and I celebrated. We visited our relative in transitional care. The place is about a half hour away. I brought a goodie bag. We had a nice visit. When we returned home, kind DD took puppy for a walk in our cold weather… oh it was 18 degrees F CourageouslyLion SeeksSerenity — I was using a hyphen! I made out dishes to pass. Then we loaded up car with gifts and food and had an excellent dinner. DD liked her gifts!!! Yay. We had. Really pleasant day. Today was pure bliss! No shopping, wrapping, cooking, cleaning, working. We just hung around and ate out many treats. My big outing was s walk in the park with puppy who just loves the cold! cando I am sorry your DS has been so sick! And that your MIL is back in hospital. Hope everyone is better ASAP! |

cando I hope everyone gets well soon! The Matzo ball soup should help your son. I used to live next to this deli that made wonderful Matzo ball soup and whenever i felt run down or a cold coming on, I would order some to have on hand. Plus I used to order the broth just to have in the freezer to use. bree I am glad today was pure bliss  . It sound like a very very good day! I am still slowly working on the house. Tomorrow I go to the Dr (again). So when I am out I will pick up meds. I think Mom is right I would get more done with less breaks but if I had less breaks all things equal however then i would just quit and get nothing done. Chipping away at it is better than not doing it at all.
