All the recycle is in the big recycle bin. I filled it to the top. It is as large as my large outdoor trash can which is supersized.
It is in the trash cubby so no rain can somehow get in and make stuff wet

Good afternoon everypony!
I had a restless night last night so slept in. there is actually a travel advisory here so I wanted to go shopping right away. Which I did, but no luck finding the item I was looking for. I will try a higher-end option next.
Came home to find DVD. I brought my laptop to the living room last night so it was a bit awkward trying to get some work done with him sitting next to me, but he decided to head home for a nap.
I have plenty of work to do: prepping for financial meeting and finishing putting away the holiday decor. Its at the messy spread-out-to-sort phase. I just hope the power stays on. PG&E is a decade behind on trimming the trees around power lines in my neighborhood.
Time to put on some music, I think.

Spent another hour on the bathroom this evening.
- Emptied both storage boxes from the window sill and PEEPed or trashed all of the contents, mostly trashed.
- Emptied both toiletry bags, trashing most of one except for a couple of small things, whereas the other was mostly makeup so have set aside in a little basket to look through later
- Organised all cleaning products into one basket under the sink and threw out a few nearly empty duplicates
- Threw away the brush head thing I bought nearly 5 years ago and never used, along with some other stuff from around the bath
- Cleared around the sink, throwing out everything except one nearly new handsome and my toothbrush holder
- Cleaned toothbrush holder
- Wiped down around sink (not sink itself yet)
Non-bathroom:
- Set out clothes for tomorrow
- Achieved coffee table zero
Notably did not make my lunch for tomorrow....May just end up snacking. Bad idea for first day back but we will see how I get on.
I feel like I've accomplished something with the bathroom at least. I do always seem to get a bit crazy and feel I need to achieve something to validate all my relaxing on the last day of a vacation- some of you may remember the "let's redo my entrance hallway" on the last night of my last two weeks off!

I'm glad you guys are getting some things done, I had a very long phone call, ate dinner, and did a little online research re: taxes. Doing my taxes should be relatively simple this year since there is nothing else relating to my sister, so my goal is going to be to get my return done as soon as possible this year. Maybe by February 15th?

Nothing like a deadline to inspire totally new projects! 
After some angst, I was able to get the holiday boxes packed up, and did some reorganizing in the attic. Also washed the sheets and made the bed. Did some peeping to wrap things up.
A cyprus tree from the neighbors came down. missed my car by about a foot! phew! its an empty lot and DVD does not have their contact info. at least the power stayed on. I might need to go to the library or a coffee shop to work tomorrow, while it gets sorted. I did not work on my finances at all today!

Nothing like a deadline to inspire totally new projects!
I know, another challenge for me! But this one really should not be difficult, and after the dog walking years of filing right before the deadline or filing for an extension, it feels important to me to go back to filing them early now that I don't have to fill in extra complicated forms for self employment and for Obamacare. In fact, I'm now even eligible to use the less complicated senior citizen version of the 1040 form, which has larger print! 
Scholar, I'm glad the tree didn't fall on your car, or, you!
There is a very light snow falling, enough to coat the lawns and buildings, but the latest estimate was that we will receive 1/3 of an inch, so I should be able to go shopping tomorrow morning.

UGH - I am getting a horrible cold. So I am going to whine away. I did take a covid test before coming to work and it was negative. I still might leave early. I have felt this cold coming on since monday. Last night was the first night I slept somewhat decent.
I managed to get the garbage can and recycling bin out last night for collection this morning.
Dishwasher is only half unloaded and dishes are piling up in the sink.
A load of laundry has been sitting in the washer since yesterday.
All I want to do is lay down.
I must face up to paying my online bills (I only have 4 or 5) I am also waiting for the tax bill to come so that I can pay that.
OK - now I must FOCUS to get through. I worked from home yesterday and it was such a productive day.
Here I go...

TML good to see you get all that recycling out.
Ohblondie sorry to hear you are feeling unwell. At least you are aware of what needs doing and hopefully you will find 5 minutes of strength to do one thing.
reve your bathroom must be looking much better. Have you gone through the bathroom several times of was this the first good clean out for a while?

I straightened the living room
Hand washed the dishes and put them all away
5 bath towels were washed and almost dried, i hung them for a few hours to save the dryer on all the time

Good morning etc everypony!
I got up early anticipating that DVD will be over so I could work without interruption. He will be mad about not having contact info for the neighbors whose tree smashed his already-broken-down wall. He wanted to replace it. I am ready for my nap. I need to go to the bank, though.
DONE: coffee took pics scooped texted w/ M and D found net worth template did research and filled it out printed it learned about my term life insurance accepted invite to breakfast at DVDs washed up and got dressed
