I'm going to finish the last 2 things on my dice game list before dinner--they are choosing 2 military names to send cards/letters to, and 10 more minutes on desk paper.
I'm happy with today, I feel like I got a lot done. I really need to get to the store tomorrow so I will also try to get my bag ready for that.
The most recent forecast for Wednesday shows we will get rain possibly mixed with a little snow. The main storm will probably stay north of us.

Thanks Everyone! Thanks lennon for starting off the week! cando i am still doing my floors - this is the third time it is hopefully the charm. I keep having to move stuff around. This time they had to come back to rest the floor. It is a floating floor and for a couple of panels they did not get them close enough together to link up so there is a small gap. It is same color as the fake grout so it took me a bit to see it but i need it fixed else water can get under the floor if there is a spill of i wash it with too much suds. mylittlescholar I would lend you a spoon or two if i could. I always feel like i live my life with too few spoons. Diane - Mom drives the staff crazy too but I hope they keep her. Mom having a fit and wanting to “move” is not helping. No place will be better. This is the best place in town and in the area. She hated all the others she tried out. Plus as the old saying goes - where ever she goes there she is. She will not be leaving the problem causing all the issues behind when she leaves. One place hated her so bad when she was there for her ankle rehab and was supposed to come home after (which she did). The social worker said if it took everyone in the facility to get her in my car they would. I said but how am i supposed to get her out at home and just me. I said i want to see one person get her in and out of the car before I agree to try to take her home by myself. Well she laid across the floor of the car with her legs hanging out the door having a fit. Eventually they decided to send her home in an ambulance and when she got here and she then could not get off the toilet so that i had to call the rescue squad to help me get her up and I called them back and said she is not ready to be home. They said we are full up. I said i saw lots of rooms that were empty and she just left 20 min ago. They said full up and that is final. So i had to keep the people i had hired to help me that were arriving that night for over a month. On the good news front I am feeling a bit better. I am going to try to get a bit more done tonight. 1. Put wash in dryer 2. Lay out clothes for tomorrow 3. Schedule meeting on work calendar

Good evening reve!
TML, your mom stories are amazing--I now have a mental picture of her lying across the car floor yelling at everyone...
I'm eating dinner now and before I got downstairs I would like to spend a few minutes decluttering so that I can start the morning with neat rooms.
Good night everyone, see you tomorrow!

Oh TML I am so sorry you have to deal with that behavior from your mom!!!!! I am home from work and glad. I tend to take it easy on myself on Mondays as work re-entry is enough. I had a somewhat productive day. I went home at lunch to play w pup. Moved some projects along I left right on time and due to school break traffic was light. Arrived home w enough daylight to get puppy to park for walk. it was practically deserted as it was close to sunset, but we had about a 45 minute walk I made a spinach salad for dinner so a good infusion of veggies. Gave puppy a bone so I can have some peace. I might try to pay some bills before I go to bed.

Hi Everyone !!
TML, I feel so bad , reading what your DMom has put you through. Maybe she cannot truly help being this way, but Oh !! life is so hard for you !! Glad you are feeling a little better !
Diane, you are having so much trouble getting enough sleep, night after night. By any chance, have you ever tried a low dose of Melatonin ? It does help me.
I had some real physical side effects this morning from my new BP meds, and I did adjust my meds. Hoping the new BP monitor comes tomorrow, as promised. I did a bunch of laundry, did all the basic stuff, and stripped and redid my bed linens. Long overdue, I might add. Placed cozy things that cushion my cats' bones on top and washed the old ones too. Long call with BFF in CT.
Wishing all some good days of contentment and productivity.

catcat are you getting one of the BP wrist monitors? I need to get in more hydration tonight. So it will be some miso soup and then I will make one of the golden cherry liquid IV electrolyte solutions. So far 3 days no caffeinated sodas (I dont count the seltzer waters I drink. I count those toward water).

TML---NO, just a regular electronic cuff for the arm. My BP was sky high, and I was sent to a Nephrologist. He has me on 4 new meds, as I also have chronic kidney failure from the high BP. I am trying to adjust them, as per his request, but my BP monitor is broken and I am waiting for the new one to arrive. I hope you continue to feel better.

Good morning cando and PS!
I am home from Walmart. Honestly, I am so indecisive about these trips--I changed my mind 3 times this morning.
The dog did not have to go out overnight, and I slept well from 10:30 TO 4:30 with just one brief wakeup. But at 4:30 I got up to go to the bathroom and then couldn't fall back asleep. As I was lying there I could hear the wind beating on the side of the house, and I thought--it's too cold and windy to walk, I probably shouldn't go. But then I reminded myself that it would rain for the next 2-3 days, so I decided I would go, blustery weather is my favorite, it shouldn't make me stay home. So I turned on the light and read until 6:00 when I got up, then I heard what sounded like rain hitting the side of the house. Okay, if it's raining, I will not go. I did a few things before bringing the dog out since she was sound asleep, and when I got outside it was clear there had been no rain at all, it must have just been debris blown by the wind.
My hip didn't hurt much, and I remembered that I really did want to get a little storage bin with a latching top for the back porch, and I would need to see it in person to see if it was right, so I decided to go. It was cold, but the wind seemed to have mostly died down, so it was a perfectly fine walk.
But now I'm tired so I'm going to sit and read and rest for a little while. I started a horror book last night, not something I read a lot of because many of them are so silly, but this one is really good so far.

Hi Everyone! I need to get started on house again. I am starting to feel recovered. I need to start small and just keep going.
I can’t manage a large list right now. I may add it later and then update all I have done but I will have to wait and see.
Working in threes: 1. Trash 2. Move wash to dryer 3. Review report Extra - 4. Get box off front porch
