This was not the best day for me. My Sciatic nerve is hurting some again. Not very bad, but I am taking it easy, just in case-----
I did most of the dailies, and unloaded the DW. Took down the trash and recycling again. Made a business call.
Packaged the casserole for the freezer and the fridge.
My best to all.

hi everypony,
I've been working at DM's. Its been hard--a very fussy project that she doesn't remember asking me to do and doesn't want to change anything or get rid of anything. So I am just trying to make it a bit more organized and neater.
I am going to need an extra day there and then squeeze in some work at C's Friday.
DVD came home, back later?

catcats I hope you feel better today!! I am proud of myself for yesterday being productive After a lunch visit home to play fetch w puppy and TLC to cats, I had one update meeting and then worked on a fairly painful project for the afternoon. Made progress Left work on time as I wanted to get puppy walk done before it became completely dark. Had quick dinner Walked puppy- left about half hour before sunset. Two times in the walk I had to change paths due to deer groups. I live in a populated suburb. We have lots of green space and parks and so many deer. Puppy just gets so excited and wants to get to them, though she is getting better. I just want to leave the deer in peace. The walk was about 1.5 hours. Puppy was still full of energy! Bribed her w a marrow bone so I could have some puppy free time last night I also: Took out trash and recycling Cleaned litter Emptied dehumidifier Washed and dried two loads of laundry Did dishes Cleaned bathroom sink Now today is a work from home day but chaos has called an in person meeting. I could skip (sort if) but at the moment for various reasons I want to look very virtuous! There was one other meeting supposed to be first thing but she canceled it at 8 pm last night! So far I have just fed the animal kingdom Also did several work emails. I will soon head to the meeting, work for a bit in the office then head out to meet a former neighbor for lunch- looking forward to it. We are going to a place where it is easy to have healthy food too so no French fries! Good news for me! Right now my official work day has not started so I am just having coffee. Already did my word games.

Sorry your back is giving you grief catcats I'm at the stage of realising that there is always going be something ouchy from now on (thank goodness for ibuprofen ) I guess I've created my own version of the 50-50 mince which is in every supermarket now, grating in parsnip, beetroot, courgette, potato, apple and chopped onion & parsley, its quite yummy all sauteed together in one pot...actually I'm just now eating some for a late lunch😋 . So rest break over,, this morning I headed outside before the expected rain and got most of the random stuff from the garden into the shed together with the squash stored for winter meals (still need to drop off a bunch of wood at the tip another day, and few bits to take to the allotment) ▶▶ Next it's time to begin the long process of sorting through the DIY section, there are random screws etc in boxes that were thrown around haphazardly while working on the shed, ..ok big breath time to face the chaos🙃

Ooooo I love the idea of putting apple in it! Cats - definitely get the ibuprofen out! Also, one thing I do from physiotherapy is to sit on my chair, lean over forward to stretch my back out and just breathe out and slowly let myself lower further and further down, even to the floor if I can bit relaxing not stretching. It is a position that takes pressure off the sciatic nerve and since I started doing it, I've gone from potential surgery to not troubled by pain at all.
Done: Change towels bathroom Ran car errands Emptied trolley storage in living room entirely and sorted through contents, organising them all into baskets by type and then to go to various rooms Reorganised daily skincare basket Created daily haircare basket Went through further ottoman of toiletries and did the same Went through clutter catcher box Threw out a third of a trash can worth of stuff for now
To do: Achieve dining table zero Achieve coffee table zero Take baskets upstairs and PEEP them
Tomorrow: Strip bedding master bedroom Strip bedding spare room Clear air dryer Fold and bag laundry Load of laundry- bedding Laundry from machine to dryer Pack for trip

Good morning everyone!
Wow, what an annoying few days! And I don't even have Windows11 yet! All this time was spent backing up all the stuff that I should have backed up all along, but never knew how. I'm grateful that the thing that forced me to back up was this situation rather than a computer crash, although I still may have a problem once I finally let Windows11 install--I will do that later today, I've been able to use my computer so little that I want some time on it before possibly having problems.
So, the dog is okay, but still seems to have one episode per day of having very weak hind legs. She's been on the one pain medication for almost a week now, and the other at the prescribed dose for a few days and although I see slight improvement it's really not much. So that's discouraging, but at least most of the day she can move around okay. I guess I just have to take a day at a time and see what happens. It is damp again today, in fact, I was all set to go to Walmart this morning because even though she had an anxiety attack before bed last night, after she calmed down she slept the entire night! So I was sure she'd be willing to go out early and I could get an early start walking. Well, when I woke up it was drizzling, and the radar picture showed more rain coming our way. Because I couldn't obsessively check the weather like I normally would before a shopping walk, I didn't see it coming, so I couldn't go today.
For someone who likes everything planned out, it's hard to just take each day as it comes and figure out what I'm doing as the day goes by, but I guess it's my new normal now, between the dog's issues and my aches and pains.

notanotherdecade---I can't have Ibuprofen unfortunately. I am limited to Tylenol which is iffy at best. I know what you mean about something always hurting from now on, . This has been way less than when I was hospitalized for the herniated disc last year but I am trying to keep it from getting worse by resting when I can. reve---I appreciate your taking the time to describe the exercise for my back. I am going to use it. I have managed to do the dailies gradually today. I do have some business calls to make and after that, I will see how it goes. My best to all. catcats

Happy Thursday!!
On Friday 10/6 I emailed a rent demand to my tenants,. I also attached a copy to their front door. They had two weeks to pay the back rent or I was going to evict them in court. Today she sent me a text message and a picture of the keys under the front mat. I went over and got the keys and made sure the apartment was locked up. there was some random stuff left behind. Some food in the fridge and a cupboard, some spices, lots of hangars. one blind is hanging off the hook and it needs to be cleaned. But all in all it is in decent condition. whew. I think I will post it right away on FB and plan to get it cleaned asap and rented by Nov 1st. I guess I have to take her to small claims court for all of the back rent
Last night I forced myself to put away a few items in my room. I put together some outfits to wear. good thing I did as I overslept this am and had to grab an outfit and run! I mean, I did put the outfit on before I ran!
OK - time to finish up a big project and post an apartment for rent

Catcats, I hope your pain gets better with rest.
Ohblondie, such nightmares with renters--although it sure could have been worse. How many months do they owe you?
Okay, I have done everything I wanted to on the computer, so some time soon I will let the install happen--if I don't post for several days you'll know it was a disaster!
