Ugh scholar, 95! That feels so far away now that we've had 50s for a while.
Ohblondie, I guess I never thought about how to rent a place, do you look at the applications and somehow decide that one is better than the other? Or do you take the first one that came in and do a credit check and if it's okay it's first come first served?
I sat on the bed with the dog for a while reading, I almost fell asleep but didn't. My legs and back hurt but I will try to do some sitting down tasks, I feel I'm really behind because of the computer stress.
Unfortunately, the vampire next door has somehow become activated again, every couple of minutes it goes off...it's pretty windy right now so maybe that's what's doing it.
TO DO:
Wash some dishes 10 minutes on paper
Delete 10 hard emails

Catcats, ringworm was always a huge fear in our cageless shelter too, because if we had an outbreak we pretty much had to stop adoptions until it was over. However a long time ago one of our vets did research and made us start lime sulfur dips when a cat came in with ringworm--that stuff stinks to high heaven but it got rid of the ringworm in a fraction of the time, so after that it wasn't the big fear that it was prior. I'm glad your results were negative, I hope whatever the lesion is heals.

Thanks friends, it does indeed feel like everything worked out in the end. That money saved can go towards hiring a decorator and making my house even more of a place I can feel proud of rather than ashamed.
Done: Strip bedding master bedroom Remade master bed Load of laundry Emptied dishwasher Clear air dryer Fold and bag laundry Laundry from machine to dryer Achieve dining table zero
To do: Strip bedding spare room Finish packing for trip Achieve coffee table zero

catcats glad all is well!! I did not get all my house stuff done. Just work work. Chaos called me and she is nervous like me about some of our big projects. We are short staffed for real (3 open positions officially). but I did get some stuff done. I did go to grocery store and bought mostly pet food -- wet for cats and dog, and bones for dog, and litter. For the human I bought just a few things as I eat down my cupboard. I did buy some cookies I dont really like -- weird thinking -- sometimes I want a sweet but I dont want to eat a lot of it, so I thought a cookie that is just ok will help. BUT then Chaos made that call and I nervously ate cookies afterwards as a unheathy coping technique the housework can wait til tomorrow! Off to pick up the pupster from daycare

I had to check 3 times to see if the dog wanted to go out before she did, which means she won't want to go out at 8, but that's okay, we can wait until later in the night. All this going up and down stairs is not helping me, though.
I got a long-ish call from my shopping friend, she still doesn't know if she will qualify to go to the assisted living place and she seems to not be pursuing getting the information, I think that's because if she finds out for sure she can't go there she'll be really upset. She's walking a little longer each day as long as the timing of the therapy is right, and she can transfer to the wheelchair by herself but they're still standing there watching her. I think she's doing much better but she's been in this nursing area a long time and I think they expected that she would be even better by now.
I will do one more list before dinner.
Next:
10 minutes on paper Put upstairs groceries away Restock water in fridge Delete 50 emails
