Race to 100 update:
Took trash out of master bath and replaced liner, Gathered up dirty laundry Gathered up dirty dishes Made the bed Put away a few random things from bedroom and living room Put away two Christmas gifts Gathered up a bunch of trash from living room - basically the aftermath of lots of wrapping Very proud of the next accomplishment. I have had three boxes laying in the hallway … the got knocked over and spilled their tiny contents everywhere. I picked it all up and put the items where they belonged! This actually put me at over 100, but it was so satisfying to look down an empty hallway for the first time in a couple of months.
Now going to set a timer and take a break before I start the next round of touching and dealing with 100 things.

Thanks Di, it's a pretty little thing, I've wanted one for a long time. I just went to look at it and another leaf has fallen off, the leaf is brown around the edges. I will put it in a window and I did buy some feed so will give that a go as well. Glad to hear your dog is a little better today x

TT, you say the nicest things, thank you!
And good work picking up the mess from the boxes that fell over, this is something I procrastinate on too, and it would be so much better to just fix it when it happens--but so much easier to just step over it for a while!
another leaf has fallen off, the leaf is brown around the edges
Womble, can you tell if the texture is dry and crinkly? Or still as thick as the other leaves? That might help tell you if it's too dry--let us know what happens, if I do get one of these in the spring I will have to learn how to care for it!
Today I am going to work on getting rid of my random packages of brown rice. Besides regular brown rice which I am going to use from now on, now that I know how easy the rice cooker is to use, I have partial packages of "instant", "minute", and "quick" varieties. I thought the instant and minute would be the same, just different brands, but no, the cooking instructions are slightly different. So I'm going to take whatever is left from each package and cook it separately so I can get rid of all of them. I will put the excess cooked rice in the freezer, it won't last long because I eat it every day when I have it prepared ahead of time. Then I will be left with regular rice in one package, and so much cheaper. Next:
Cook "instant" rice 10 minutes on PEEPing Clean off seed area on top of porch room dresser Delete 10 hard emails

Oh wow, Spanish rice--I don't think I've had that since I was a teen! If I had a stove, I would look for a recipe that I could make vegetarian, using brown rice! Yum!
I guess it's time to stop and eat some of this rice for lunch! Before I do, I will start the next batch, of "Minute" rice in the rice cooker.

Hi scholar, I like that you're putting times in your lists, so you are aware of how much time is passing!
I had planned to return a call to my senior client yesterday, but forgot until almost bedtime. Forgot again earlier today, although I can't call in the morning anyway, she doesn't wake up until late morning. So I remembered an hour ago and called her. When she answered she said she was just on the way out the door to go shopping, and then she talked for 45 minutes! So that phone call is taken care of.
I put all the rice away, but ended up with 2 cups still to cook in the Minute rice box. I would have kept going but I don't think I have enough small food containers for more, or room in the freezer. So I'll use it up next time, but I still got rid of one bag and one box from my pantry.
I have half an hour before I have to feed the dog again so I will do PEEPing until then.

Thanks Diane. I was thinking of asking you what the acronym SMART stands for this morning, then realized I could google it. I used to know this!
S specific
M measurable
A attainable?
R ??
T time-bound?
I am so frustrated:
1. got a text asking if I was here for an appt, but could not figure out what appointment, even after going to the app.
2. filled out a ridiculously long "new" patient form on my phone. no submit button to be found. 3. looked at one of my calendars and realized it was my annual imaging appt that I missed. 4. realized that I remembered I had an appt today, but did not remember I had TWO appts today 5. got a call saying "please fill out the form before your appt." 6. I am now on hold... but I need to go to my appt!
