Did the dailies, processed the mail, did a lot of PUPA from the DR table which had gotten piled up, threw out Christmas cards--finally--, and began to work on hemming clothes. Cut brown pants and hand-hemmed one leg. Cut blue pants.
Had phone appt. with financial advisor at 12 and a few things were decided upon. Talked with my BFF in CT. Did some cooking and used up some elderly freezer food. I need to do more of that.
My best to all.

danny15 I appreciate your mentioning daylight saving time. I had no idea! Tonight I am going to start edging my bedtime earlier so I don't suffer in the transition. Thanks!

Good morning!
I fell asleep almost as soon as I turned out the light last night, and slept 7.5 hours with only 2 wakeups--and I didn't even have to get up for the bathroom until I woke up at 5! That's exactly how I would like to sleep, fall asleep early, get up early, no long awake periods in the middle of the night. This is why I don't take naps, if I had taken one yesterday afternoon when I was so tired I would not have fallen asleep by 9:30!
I'm waiting for the library to open, and I have a long wait since I woke up so early.

Oh my goodness. I made three stops on the way home. I dropped off the basket at the hospital for my co-worker and stayed a very short time chatting with her mom and sister. I stopped to help my mom and brought her an Easter gnome. I usually get home around 430 and last night I got home between 630-7. Poor Callie had an accident so I will not do that again unless necessary. Unfortunately she peed on my bed. So I stripped the bedding (I had a waterproof mattress cover on thank goodness) and remade the bed. From now on I put a waterproof pad and blanket on top of the bed when I leave.
Because of all the running I did last night - I did not get much done other than the load of bedding.
today at lunch i will pick up my moms prescription and make my car payment right now the dishwasher is running and I am busy working

I just ran to the drugstore and the bank to get a prescription and pay my car loan. I dropped off the prescription at my mom's and was back at work within the 1/2 hour.......barely. Thank goodness everything is so close to each other and only a mile or so from my house
back to work now.. We are getting so much done!!

Ohblondie, cars do make things easier--I'm always surprised when the handyman drives me to the big box hardware store that is a block or two farther away than the Walmart I walk to--we get there in 5 minutes, when it takes me 25 minutes to walk to the Walmart, and that's on a good day!
Before I stop for lunch, I'm going to take the microwave downstairs to the shelf next to the kitchen sink--there's another GFCI outlet there so I can test to see if the microwave is the problem.

It's the microwave! I plugged it in downstairs, put something in it, and in about 30 seconds the microwave made a fizzing noise and turned off. So, I need a new microwave! I can't remember when I bought this one, but it did get a lot of use. That's good, better that than something wrong with the outlet--it's an outlet that I use all the time because it's so conveniently located.
Okay, now I have to eat something for lunch that doesn't require a microwave. There's actually a second old one downstairs that belonged to my sister, but that one's questionable too, it makes weird noises sometimes so I was going to get rid of it now that I don't need it to warm up the dog's canned food. I guess I could still use it for the next few days until I can get a new one, at least that one never blew the circuit interrupter!

I just had a long call from my shopping friend. I talked to her about my will, and she agreed that it would be better to leave her out because she'll probably use up all her assets in a year and then have to apply for Medicaid, which means if you inherit money it screws up your coverage and just causes problems.
I really need to post in that "end of life" thread (or was it called the Swedish death cleaning thread?) There are a few things I really need to figure out and I always do better when it's an official challenge.
I didn't get out into the yard at all today, I would like to at least fill up the rest of my water bottles, we're supposed to have rain tomorrow and I might have to actually cover the top of the barrel so no more rain gets in there. I wouldn't care if we weren't supposed to go under freezing temps on Saturday. I'll keep watching the forecast and figure out what to do.
I think I'm going to work on my office supplies for a while, I'm still sorting things into my small filing cabinet and have to figure out the last categories. I messed up the sink area moving the microwave downstairs (and hurt my back, I forgot how heavy it was) so I would like to clean that up too but I'm in my sleepy period of the day right now.

Hi scholar, enjoy your art class!
I did work on my office stuff but I think that's going to be it for today. I'm going to eat dinner now, and will probably go to bed a little early.
Good night everyone, see you tomorrow!

I got the garbage out. I quickly decluttered some old food from the fridge. I got a huge cardboard box folded and in the recycle can. Both cans are dragged to the curb and a fresh bag in the kitchen can. I dug around and grabbed as much recycle stuff as I could
I heated something up that I pulled out of the freezer. I have no idea what it is but I suspect it is eggplant parm
I visited my dad after work and brought him ice cream I hung to dry the load of laundry I did this am
