So what happens now Rob? How about cooking yourself something good to celebrate? A tiny break before going round the loop again is motivating.

ugh. Did not get as much accomplished this weekend as I had hoped.
HUGE box of clothes and a bag of clothes returned to a store where I had done some online shopping. MUST STOP SHOPPING
Two bags that are packed for friend are STILL at the top of the stairs.
Was supposed to be away saturday - hubby got sick so we stayed home.
I did get a lawn bag filled and to the curb.
I did get some shredding done. And some recycables out (full can) and the trash can out for pickup.
THis is make it or break it week.

Ohblondie, it sounds as if you got quite a bit done. I spent about 90 minutes in the garage, clearing and cleaning the path to the car and whatever else that looked easy to 'harvest'. Collected about a regular trash can and a half of stuff to top off large recycling bin and almost fill regular trash can.

Last night when I arrived home, I realized that my neighbors had put their recyclables out. I checked the calendar, and realized that yes indeed it is the right day. This morning on my way out to work to took out two bags of mixes plastic/metal and 1 box of paper/paperboard.

Robnoxious07 have you heard of the "Seinfeld" method of motivation? He didn't invent it obviously but he's famous for it.
You put an x ont he calendar every day you do your new desired behaviour. Then you admire your x's in a row and try not to break the chain. lets say you get your chain up to 52 and then you don't do it one day. So you don't quit forever, you start again and try to make sure the next chain is longer than 51.
you can't keep taking bags of stuff from your place forever, obviously, but you could then change the task to "put dirty clothes in basket not on floor" or "picked up all trash before bed" or "emptied trash cans when full or almost full".

hubby was out last night and I was looking forward to a night at home ALONE!
DD was home and sat in front of the tv. I managed to keep the TV off til 630.
I cleaned up after dinner and loaded and ran the d/w.
I emptied 4-5 boxes from the DR and LR. Several got collapsed and put out for recycling as they smelled like dog pee. Anything that smelled got chucked in the trash.
It is amazing how much stuff can hold odors. I am afraid the dog also had an accident on the new rug. UGH.
Need to borrow a vacuum from he neighbors to clean the rug. I will do that saturday after the room is cleared out. THere is a wrinkle in the rug that needs to be straightened out as well.
tonight will focus on more bags of clothes OTD

Puppybox said "you can't keep taking bags of stuff from your place forever.." I bet it feels like that though!
It may seem like a never-ending task, but provided that you don't keeping bringing in more than you throw out, you will get there.

All files have been filed back in my file cabinets. WOOT WOOT -- Today will be my last day of working in my classroom for 40 day challenge. I have one box of papers that need to be sorted, purged and filed. I can not accomplish this in one day, but I will sort alphabetically.
Need to play catchup in the garage tonight when I get home.
