You'd think, by now, I'd be running out of trash to fill a (surprisingly large) bag with, but *NO*. 44 bags in 44 days. It will probably be awhile before I run out.

Ugh...my talk to text is just full of typo's!!!!
I busted my b-u-t-t~!~~ yesterday......Got the front third of the living room cleared out. Two bags to the trash can and a third started. HUGE pile of donate stuff - once my daughter gets home I will send her out to donate it.
HUGE pile of boxes. I am thinking of collapsing them as I know I will use them as I clear out more crap.
Several LARGE items were put away. Specifically a huge box of my daughters books back to her room, my son's gear bag (for baseball - holds his bats, cather's equipment, cgloves, etc) back to his room.
All kinds of random items were put where they belong. Started to go thru and toss and shred papers but the shredder is not working.
Still a LONG way to go in the LR.........DR is kinda ok. Just the table is piled high.

I finished my 40 Day Challenge in my classroom yesterday Actually it was only 33 days as during the 40 day period I was only able to be in my classroom 33 out of the 40 days. Right now I can step in my classroom and put may hands on anything that I need with out having to dig through piles or messy unorganized drawers. What is left to do: I have some current items I need to deal with. 1 box of papers that can be filed now that I have all my file folders organized and file cabinets cleaned out I have a few larger items that I need to figure out how to store. In my garage I have some boxed tucked away with papers ect that I need to go through. I do have a few boxes of files that I would like to organize a bit more but it is not a must do. Finally I would like to label all drawers and cabinets. This may seem like a lot left to do My accomplishment far surpass my expectations but what is left to do is manageable accomplish between now and June 17 which will be the last day of work for me until next August. I will catch up with 40 days in the garage today and hopefully end with a bang tomorrow. 40 Days 40 Bags (items ect) has been a eye opening experience for me. What happens after Saturday. Will we start a new thread and hop on board for another measured 40 day challenge? ONWARD to day 40 GOOD WORK EVERYONE

I work for a health network/hospital that has well over 13,000 employees. Today I realized that I recognized the name of someone on my schedule. She is my boss's, boss's, boss. I don't think I ever met her before. I had some time and did a major tidy up of my work area before she arrived. I never let on that I knew who she was, I just attempted to be polite and do the test as if she was anyone else. It went well. (I was a nervous wreck before she arrived.) Anyway, I'm counting tidying up my work area as a bag. I tossed a bunch of papers, filed some others, and tossed a few phone books. Just one day left. Let's see what I can accomplish tomorrow!

I do not hay any children of my own, but my niece likes to read so I am still keeping my old books and getting more newer ones for her. And also for myself. So far I brought home more books than I have given away this year. Have to do somethng with that.

Great work everyone! RoadRunner and Rob, you have done amazing things! Today is the last day of the 40 day challenge and I have 3 bags to go! Some of my "bags" have been pretty lame, (as in just getting out normal everyday trash and not digging into the backlog of stuff). I hope to fill 3 good sized bags of older stuff today, stuff that's been in my house for a while. And about going to Christmas? The sad fact is that I could fill a bag a day without running out of trash/items for donation. When I'm done with the house, there is still a whole shed full of stuff that needs to go!

Ally--imagine if you had not taken out that everyday trash!?
Taking out everyday trash is a wonderful thing!
