Got a set of 2 boxes of a beautifull light green colour, one in shape and size of a toast and one of a french bread, both awith the picture of it on the top. For free - or for bonus stickers one shop here give you for a purchase, I needed to collect 12 to get the boxes. They look great.

lucie, those boxes sound really fun! What are you going to use them for? I wish the stores here still did stamps for gifts. My Grandmother just about outfitted her whole kitchen from store stamp gifts.

Angela, I will use them for my lunch sandwiches. This shop does these sticker games twice a year with various goods, I rarely need something there - but I needed this set.

A leaf blower. Actually I bought it months ago but barely took it out of the box this morning ! I used it today to clean off the patio of dust, dirt, dry grass, cobwebs, etc. worked like a charm

Sounds like a useful acquisition lucie! cleanbee, glad your leaf blower is out of the box and doing its job! I bought a spinning wheel today. I have 2 already and the one I bought is the same brand and model of one that I already have. BUT, the one I bought today has something extra, a jumbo flyer with two bobbins. This flyer is built to spin bulkier yarns and the bobbins can hold more ounces of fiber than a standard bobbin. I bought the wheel for $175. I can sell the one I have for $125-$150. The jumbo flyer alone, new from a dealer, costs $110. An additional bobbin would cost $16. So as I figure it, I got a newer wheel, with an accessory that I could never find used and couldn't justify buying new for $25-50 depending on what I get for this other wheel. A little speculative I know but I feel pretty confident about it.

Nice find, angela! Can you put up an ad for the old spinning wheel asap? Yesterday I bought a set of drawers to go in one of my cubbies, but they're the wrong color and I need to exchange them for the correct color to match the other set. Too bad because I was looking forward to corralling a few more things that are piled awkwardly in the cubbies. Then I also got a set of cups and a potty for baby, and some shelf paper for the rental house. I love Ikea.

A new little hair dryer, with a folding handle and retractable cord. Small is beautiful. I bought a new hair dryer 2 years ago, but it's slightly too large and heavy for my wrist so it has been a nuisance to use. I will donate it to the free box.

I bought one of those grabber/reacher things, mostly because my pack of Britta filters fell behind my washer/dryer. (I can see them, but the machines are too heavy to move, and the angle is way too awkward for me to grab with my arm.)
I also bought the complete Beatles original recordings box set. That was a bit frivolous, I guess, but they have been my favorite band since I was 5, and nothing motivates me to clean like listening to their music. (Meanwhile, I am getting rid of my physical CDs after I rip them to Amazon Music.)
I bought the healthy dry food my kitties love - it's Taste of the Wild venison and salmon flavor.
I ordered (to be delivered next Wednesday, when I'm back from visiting my friends in upstate NY) healthy groceries that go together and complement things I already have in my cupboards.
Lastly, I bought a step-stool. I am actually pretty tall for a woman (5'9") but my closet shelves are massively high. I know I'll keep them neater if I can actually see what I'm doing rather than just flinging things up there.

My coleague is very crafty with paper and brought us a heap of lovely hand made bookmarks. I took 2 and have a hard time resisting another one. Now I need to purge some of mine old ones, as I already have 6 and want to stick to that number.
... well, if I am asked to take more, I will take another one and settle on 7 bookmarks. 7 is a lucky number, isn't it?

I managed to avoid a 60% off sale at "the store". I get emails daily.....sigh.......
I do like looking at the pretty clothes. And I have been real good at holding back..... Surprisingly looking daily at the website has helped curb my impulse buys. I am able to look at the items more critically, and figure out if I have clothing item at home that I can use to create the same look.
My hair dryer stopped working. THis weekend I will try to find an inexpensive replacement. it has been so hot, I have been holding my hair up with a giant clip. so I am surviving. So that is my weekend anticipated purchase. Maybe I can find a good garage sale...

I have been mostly buying storage items for my new house to help keep it clutter free. Ikea really likes me right now! We are going to buy a new mattress tomorrow since we are upgrading to a queen sized bed in the new house and our current mattress is very old. We of course, will throw it away.

Two tiny cokes in plastic bottles, one small can of honey roasted nuts, 20 file folders which will soon be gone and 10 tabs to separate book draft chapters. Everything is consumable and will soon be gone except the notebook tabs.
