Good morning everypony!
It was nice to wake up to a tidier desk today. Much earlier than I wanted to. And no naps for me, I will be gone all day and all night. ugh. Was planning on going down to help G unpack today. BY MYSELF. The D invited herself, then she invited everypony else. They could have gone yesterday. I am going because I have an appointment in town early, and then practice in the evening, and then I am picking DXH up at midnight. They will all get to go home after practice, but I will be up and driving for three more hours.
I feel like such a Scrooge because I don't particularly enjoy doing this kind of work with a lot of people, especially when I am already sleep deprived, my meds aren't right, and there is a lot of social pressure from this group to "be positive." SO... I need an attitude adjustment. Maybe I can catch a meeting. Maybe I can surprise M/S and give her a ride to the library, because she won't have access to a phone for a month, and I can't talk to her tonight. I need to get out of my head, and into service. Yes, that is a good plan.
DONE: medicate cat (still need to give him oral meds) medicate myself check weather
check fashion calendar
GET READY TO GO: figure out what to wear pack change of clothing pack stuff to donate to the costume exchange pack stuffed dog for M/S pack gifts for SHE's pack box knives, aprons, tape measure, sticky notes, pens pack neurology info take a shower, redo hair make up if time fill bird feeder if time bring in hummer feeders

Good Morning MLS and everyone who will follow.
Did not get as much done in the LR as I had hoped. It was raining yesterday and hard to carry stuff out to the car. But today is a new day!
My washing machine pooped out during my last load last night. So I had to take the heavy, water sogged sheets and blanket to the Laundromat. I ran them through the smallest washer there - then dried them. It was an epic laundry weekend. BUT - it is flashing a code and I have had that code before. It just means the load got unbalanced and I have to unplug the machine - plug it back in and hit a series of buttons and all is well. I will do that tonight.
We did the grocery shopping last night- we were pretty planful. We had BLT's for supper - oh they were so good. Fresh tomato's from a friends garden - yum. I have leftovers for tonight.
Today after work I have to drop some stuff off at DD's house. Emptying out my car - hurray!!!
Fix the washer Hopefully a load of cold water wash line dry stuff tonight. If not - no big deal. I had cleaned out a bunch o'crap from my bedroom - I need to do another round there.
I would also like to attack my kitchen pantry. every time I go look for something - the contents of the shelves end up on the floor. I need to eat the random stuff that is in there or just donate it before it expires.
OK - better start clearing off the work that has piled up on my desk...

Good morning!
Scholar, have a good day, don't overdo it or you'll be falling asleep on your drive to the airport tonight!
Ohblondie, I think you must love that laundromat! Wouldn't it have been easier to just reset the washer last night? I hope that's all it is, and that you don't have a broken washer too.
I'm just finishing up breakfast now, which means I woke up too late--and after saying yesterday how much I hate that, I will make sure I'm in bed earlier tonight. If I can't fall asleep I will just read until I do.
I only have a little more than an hour before I have to leave for my mid-day work. It will get to the upper 80s today but currently is cool because it's thundering and raining. I was hoping it would clear for my walks but now I don't know, we'll see.
TO DO:
Clean up from breakfast Scoop litter pans Wash cat food dishes

Up Fed cats Put away clean dishes Watched a show Just saw news update -so glad Dorian is now a cat 2 but such destruction and I am praying for the animals and humans who are in harm’s way and suffering I am going to go get my walk in I think I have not had the gumption to weigh myself yet. I ate too much yesterday. The first half of the day was great then at the cook out I was really making good choices and avoiding the snacks but...I ended up eating a small piece of pie and a roll before the night was out ugh!!!!

Good morning magda!
Time to get ready for my walks--get dog walk bag ready, brush teeth, make sure I have my umbrella, although the thunder stopped a while ago and I think it might have stopped raining too.
See you all later!

My daughter is preparing to evacuate for Dorian......even Cat 2 will cause devastation and flooding.
Diane - I was in a hurry to get to the Laundromat and get my clothes done. I did not want to take the time to google my machine and look up the code. I will have more time tonight and won't feel so pressured to hurry up and get it done. Last night DH was standing at the door waiting for me to get the stuff ready to go. Actually it was all ready except the last load in the washer.
I treated us to new sheets last night. they are supposed to be "cool" sheets as in keep us cooler with the exclusive microfiber technology (whatever). They are NOT the $300 Sheex that are on TV. I don't know that I slept any better because of them - but I did sleep through the night....so I might be on to something....
Tonight is more dishes......I have to do better on keeping up on them.
OK - I am banging through my list at work - wish I could do that well at home!

Hello everyone and thought I'd pop in and lend some support and some and a few of these I slept a lot over the weekend in hopes of recovering from the prep for the exterminator, but it seems like there's really no way to completely catch up on lost rest and spent energy when you have a chronic illness. I have to remember that and to try to be a bit kinder to myself and stop expecting the body I have now to perform the same way it did before I got sick, not to mention that I'm a teensy bit older now, too. I've always been hard on myself and it's a tough lesson to learn, to try to change ingrained habits, but my body is quick to remind me of its limitations. The fact is that I had no other choice but to push myself way beyond them last week, and I am still in pain, covered in bruises (from banging against stuff in the closets), and have to keep talking to myself about what I can and cannot expect to accomplish right now. I'm in the SOOS chatzy room right now, should anyone want to do 15 minute challenges. If you want the link, send me a pm, or go to the Shoutbox tab to get it. Wishing everyone here a productive Tuesday! DONE got out of bed (this was a HUGE deal today) fed/watered catface made coffee took meds checked bank account #1 called bank #1- why hasn't $ transferred? called bank #2- where is the $ that should be showing? tried to find emotional support NEXT UP sort laundry gather 2 loads keep checking bank #2

Hello SetMeFree, I'm not surprised that you're still hurting from last week, that was a lot of work even for a young healthy person, now that we're a teensy bit older (I like that!) and have health issues it's horrible. Plus you're still living in limbo with all the storage bins!
Ohblondie and magda, I hope your relatives are safe in the storm. I'm trying hard not to think about how terrifying it must be for people and animals caught in the middle of a hurricane.
I'm home from my walks, very weird weather out there--they're still saying it will get to 86, but during my walks it was in the low 70s and super humid, no rain. The sky was all kinds of shades of grey, depending on where you looked. Luckily the thunder stopped long before I picked up the thunder-shy dog so she was okay. I'm not sure if it will rain more, but I'm home now and don't have to go out again so I won't worry about it.
I'm finishing up lunch now and will figure out what to do this afternoon.

thanks for the SetMeFree! I'm really feeling my teensy bit older; didn't last at the convention Saturday to see a favorite local band making their debut, and it took me two days to recover. I imagine you are really feeling it!
so, I got to my appt, couldn't check in, got sent to the lab, they had no orders, they sent me back to the waiting room, pdoc said she did not have me on her schedule, I checked the app... my appointment is for TOMORROW! So I said never mind, I am going home. I took myself out to an "off plan" lunch (fried green tomatoes!) and then went shopping for kitty litter and a few things for DXH. Then crashed. I feel badly that I stood up my friends, but on the other hand, feel relieved that I will be able to do a few more things here, and drive a bit more safely, as you said, magda!
I was thinking to work outside, but its quite hot, not maryinaz hot, but theres-a-hurricane-off-the-coast hot, ( ) so I need to think what would make the most impact. Probably the kitchen.
The fashion prompt today was wear the colors of your favorite Disney princess, and I had just watched the Princess and the Frog for the first time, and loved it. Went with light green and borrowed DXH's stuffed froggie for my selfie!

Scholar, I'm glad you'll have a little more time to get something done at home.
I just got an email from our new building management company, saying that we have a new waste management firm handling our garbage which was supposed to start October 1st, but the old company just came and picked up our old bins. The soonest the new company can bring the new bins is Thursday, so we have two days with no dumpster. And of course, I just found a stinky rotting tomato on the DR table and threw it in the almost full paper kitchen garbage bag. If I had known there would be no dumpster until Thursday I would have wrapped it up in plastic and stuck it in the freezer til then.
Oh well, I have a few actual plastic kitchen garbage bags somewhere, I guess I'll have to use one to wrap up this stinky bag until I throw it out. I'm just glad I didn't make a trip out with multiple heavy items for the bins, to find that they were gone (they were there this morning when I left for my walks, I threw some recycling in).
Now I'm going to work on my bathroom shelf project for a while.
Diane
