I did bring in the trash can from outside to start to do something like pick up the bedside trash.....that now has fallen to I wanna sleep...I did not get to bed until 4am or so...then up at noon today...I have a student tonight from 8:30pm to 10:30pm....I might want to sleep more tonight because of early morning tomorrow with student going at 8:30am to take his test.....if I sleep this afternoon I will be not tired tonight....but I just don't wanna do squat....but roll over and dream away the afternoon.... it is almost 2pm....maybe if I got up at 6pm to do a little trash removal?

Well you need your sleep -- you've been working a lot with your students and your regular job -- a lot of driving -- so it sounds reasonable to rest. And then take out the trash after you get some sleep! It sounds like a good plan!

I understand your dilemma. If you do sleep now, you might not be able to sleep tonight. Then you will be tired again tomorrow, so you will want to sleep during the day again...
Some people recommend a power nap in a case like this, which means just sleep for 20-30 minutes, just enough to refresh you, but not long enough to interfere with a good night's sleep.
Others would say go through one or two full sleep cycles, which last about 1 1/2 hours each.
I just hope you do get some good sleep tonight, whatever you decide.

Wow, sleep cycles are so different from person-to-person, so what's going to work for you is a hard call. But if you're that exhausted right now, you'd probably benefit from getting a good nap, even if it's just a 20-30 minute power nap as Mimi suggested.
I hope you get caught up on your rest soon.

I slept all afternoon to six and beyond if I could....then took student from 8:15pm to 10:15pm earlier than I had appointment set but she came along.....
I came home and cleared the trash can area into the big outside trash can I brought inside.,...it is full now...there is more trash on other side of bed....
I am still tired enough to sleep tonight...I am supposed to have an early morning student tomorrow but I may cancel that appointment with telephone call saying I am sick....I am not sure yet....I do not want to get out of bed that early....half hour drive for 8:30am appointment....I am sure they will understand if I say I am sick....I would not be lying...I am deeply depressed about my need to move...and all I have to do to get that done.....ugggg

No, no, no, no, no! Take the appointment! You have to wake up early, but you get paid for it, and its probably pretty easy money, right? Plus don't you NEED to be there for the person to take their test? Taking the driving test is a big deal for people, that person would probably be so disappointed if they couldn't take the test when they planned on it! The best way to get past depression is ACTION! If you stay home, in bed, and don't take care of your responsibilities, it will only get worse. Suit up and show up! Isn't that what they tell us to do? Sorry for the tough love, but sometimes I think we need it, right?

Sorry for the tough love, but sometimes I think we need it, right? I agree, just remember how disappointed you were when a student canceled on you. Take the income while it's there for you. Remember what it was like to NOT have the extra income from your business. Please don't let this opportunity slip away knowing you have a few extra dollars now. You will still be trying to make ends meet even without canceling that appointment so you can sleep. Many times I want to call out sick from work and don't.....then I'm happy I didn't on pay day. SNM

SNM I love the new avitar....!!!! yeay!!!
I am going to visit the inside of a house in a neighborhood I am not truly wanting but the house has fenced yard and is $525 for one bedroom....he lets me have pets.....if I like inside I think this is going to be where I move to....it is in way downtown south st. louis and is a pretty Urban jungle of housing...flats ect....it is not the high rent district....but it is only six miles to work...one main street for almost all of that.....I currently pay $613 and have struggled for long enough to know that $88 month reduced rent will help alot. there are other places that have fenced yards and allow dogs but they are way south in another county and maybe 30mile drive to work...since they cost more to start $625 plus extra gasoline use they fall off my meter for good homes....one other $500 month one bedroom is available in county better area than city home but I do not know if it has fenced yard and if they will take my dogs...they say pets negotiable....

I was supposed to see the inside of house today but the owner had to reschedule for tomorrow....I am to call him when I can meet him there....I drove by today with my student and he still has not cut the two foot tall grass in yard....he emailed me saying he would cut the grass....not that it matters much but he will cut it before I move into the house....or else I do not move in....
I called a mover again today and they are sending someone to my house to estimate my move...I also looked at PODS which are the things you have dropped outside and move your stuff into them as you will then they move them and you unload them....those are not so terribly expensive but I might need two months with my move....one to load and one to unload....but it means I do all the physical labor of the moving....I may not take that way...not the best idea for me personally with my back and knees....

Since you're moving locally, it shouldn't cost too much to hire a local moving company. I've moved twice in the past 20 years and both times went that route. We packed everything ourselves. The company sent 3 guys each time and one medium sized truck. I couldn't believe how fast they worked. We were completely moved within 3 hours. Cost was about $500 but worth every penny to get it done quickly.

I had assumed a local move would cost much more than that....next time I move, I will definitely go this route! BTT, I hope your househunting is going well.
