Errands for me again today.
I had something to take back, then bought creamer for coffee and some new pastries they have
The sun was warm and it was nice and bright outside all day
Right now DH started a chicken curry
dishes need to be done
i need to PUPA for 10 minutes at least

Holiday Party is over. We had good food. I am so used to eating very small portions that I got full so fast! I made a HUGE pot of chili and there is actually some left over to bring home. the ground beef was expensive so I am happy I can also feed the fam. the chili will go quickly at home!
We did a gift exchange as well. Usually someone picks a gift and opens it. The next person can "steal" the opened gift or pick a different one than open it. and around the room. Today we drew numbers and picked presents. But did not open them. Anyone could steal an unopened gift causing the person holding that gift to pick a new one. Then all at once everyone opens their gift and people can trade them if they want. It took about 10 mins and was so boring. I got a $25 amazon gift card which I might give to one of the kids.
OK - only two errands to run on the way home - drug store and gift certificate for my mom to give as a gift. I hope I can keep focused on those two things. Then a huge salad/vegetables for dinner!

good "morning" everypony! late start for me, too. but I'm glad I could catch up on sleep.
DONE: made coffee
brushed hair and teeth DVD showed up chatted with him
reviewed my lists asked him to take the yucky food in the fridge destined for the compost bin added items from my notebook to the list updated log checked online balance checked email checked calendar reviewed photos
I need to do some errands. I should go right away to minimize traffic. I am still in my jammies.

Looked out remaining gifts, but one seems to have vanished so I'm trying to come up with a back up plan

Hello TT and reve!
TML, it's always sobering to hear someone near our own age has died--even now that I'm older it still is the same.
So, when I heard construction noises outside this afternoon I went to my window to look and the workers next door were already filling in the next door sidewalk with cement. It took about 5-6 different trucks to accomplish this, which was odd, but, what do I know? Except that my handyman filled in an area in my back yard for the air conditioner last year that was about 2/3 of the size of what they did today and he did it all by himself, but anyway--apparently whatever work they had to do underneath the sidewalk was silent because I didn't hear anything until they were filling it back up.
I had a leisurely dinner and watched another Christmas movie, and I think I will start getting ready for bed a little early since I was up early--I'm hoping to fall asleep at a good time.
