Hi renewal!
I stopped for lunch and then watched some tv while continuing to declutter--I can't believe how much better the second floor looks just with this effort today. I still have a pile on one of my desks because it's the leftover Christmas stuff and I have to go through it and put things away in an organized way, but everything else looks okay in the porch room.
I'm going to go downstairs and do a few things there, then it will be time to take the dog out again.

I ran out over lunch to get my 2023 calendar. I ducked into the dollar store to get my pink lemonade packets. of which there were none. I grabbed two stockings and fake snow for next year. I put it back and just got a bottle of tea. I do not need any of that stuff.

WTG ohblondie on putting the stuff back! after I finished my cover letter draft, I dropped DD at her friend's house and then I took puppy for a nice long walk in the park. It is in the fifties but with a damp chill but not complaining after the single digits. very very gray out too. Now back to resume updating as the next phase of my application.

Oh dear I am self sabotaging!!! I was working on my linked in profile updates but very scattered. Puppy was distracting me w her constant 24/7 need for attention and interruptions. So hard to focus!!!! She never lets up and i get a head ache trying so hard to focus So I got really stressed snd thought I should work on resume but then got so tense that I took a two hour Netflix break. Ugh Now I have to focus on resume. That has to get done before linked in. So have to go update resume. This stuff is all do tomorrow I am so worn out from having animals live here I am grateful I found my most recent resume and just need to update. But it will be hard.

Hey renewal! Well done on getting started! Done: Steam mopped kitchen Steam mopped downstairs bathroom Achieved dining table zero To do: Sort laundry Finish handling mail Achieve coffee table zero Unload dishwasher Restack dishwasher Currently having a rest and hydrating after the steam mopping - it was very humid and steamy! Contemplating asking boyfriend to wipe down the kitchen cabinets, but I also need him to PEEP his stuff from the living room, so must consider my rationing of asks!

Renewal, do you have a dishwasher you don't know how to use?
so must consider my rationing of asks
Almost time to get ready for bed, I think today was okay, I got a few things done this evening, and the second floor looks a lot better.
Good night, see you all in the morning!

Good morning everyone. I stopped at the grocery store and brought some treats in to work (mini bagels, tangerines and vegetable platter) If we have to work on the eve of new years eve, we might as well make it fun.
I think I mentioned we went out as a family wednesday night, everyone came. I left early as I was not really feeling well. Well yesterday my son left work a bit early and went home and crawled into bed. Last night the poor kid got so sick. I am afraid there is a stomach bug traveling through our house now. DH was feeling bleh - not as sick as son but crummy in general. This weekend the house gets sprayed with lysol!
OK - time to focus on work....

Good morning! I'm currently waiting for the pharmacy and library to open so I can go do my errands. It's still in the 40s at the moment but the temp will drop during the day and will be in the 30s over the weekend. But, we have another mid-50s day forecast for Tuesday.

good morning everypony!
I have to leave in 20 mins and I am in my jammies, so will be quick
it turned out my appt yesterday was for today! just as well as there was some mix up with the referral, but that is straightened out now. I went out to breakfast at a famous diner and went off plan. paid for it yesterday--pretty much slept all day! which of course meant I didn't sleep much last night.
fortunately I am in a hopeful mood. I invited DVD to go with me to the appt, as I read my neck might be sore (needle biopsy in my thyroid) so he can drive back. and I discovered that there is an IMAX theatre in the next town, so we will catch an early showing.
DONE: made coffee updated log checked balance checked email checked calendar
I must be off!

ohblondie For my mom, we had an auto transfer from her account monthly into our joint account for me to use for purchases. Not only did it make it easier to track expenses but the account was still active at her death because I was a joint owner (but it was in my name and social as primary). In consultation with your parents/siblings - you may have them deposit enough to cover initial expenses to use for a funeral, etc. unless they have pre-paid. That is A LOT of money to come up with quickly and sometimes their assets can be shut down for a month or more even with a trust. I was locked out of DM's account affiliated with her trust for six weeks and it would have been longer if I hadn't gotten really pushy with the attorney due to insurance and bank line of credit issues. If you only use the joint account for purchases for your parents - you can just keep the itemized bank statements for any future records needed. Just my two cents.
