Hello bree, renewal, and reve!
Bree, I'm so glad you have Friday off to recover from all those meetings!
Renewal, I'm sorry that you had so much damage from a tornado, that is scary. I hope you'll be able to get things back to normal.
I didn't get much done after my phone call, I'm feeling sleepy and looking forward to bedtime. After that one really good week of sleep I'm back to waking up frequently, luckily I'm usually able to get back to sleep within 15 minutes or so but I can tell a difference in being more tired during the day. I'm still trying to get up at 6 but am using my 9-minute snooze alarm a little bit. Yesterday I cleaned off my bedside table and somehow I apparently turned off my alarm by mistake when I moved my clock because after waking up at 4 this morning, the next time I woke up was way after 7--I was wondering why it was lighter than usual outside and then I looked at the time...
It's time to take the dog out, but it's raining...I hope she goes out because it doesn't look like it's going stop soon.
Good night everyone, see you tomorrow!
Diane

Oh, renewal. I am so sorry! Sounds like you are facing the work head on and without delay. That is very commendable.

Good morning TT! Is your company coming at the weekend? I'm glad you took some time off, you're right, you can do it!
I'm relaxed this morning because I know I don't have to go anywhere for the next 4 days at least. The forecast is for drizzle or snow mixed with rain on and off today, then after today it goes to the lower 30s and stays there for a while.
This is the month when gardeners start dreaming about spring planting. I have to say, the garden makes the idea of summer coming more bearable--there used to be nothing at all good about summer for me, but the garden is a good thing.

reve sorry about storm damage! It was 40 degrees F here yesterday. Puppy has spring fever. Very wild and joyful and playful. She is not a watch dog. Yesterday when I was getting ready for work and I thought I heard knocking on door but no barking. I had the wood door open w storm doors locked but so puppy could look out. A meter reader was there and puppy was wagging her tail to greet the visitor! Like it was her good friend. It was a woman so I think that was part of it and I think if the wood door was shut and she could not see, she would have done her deep throaty bark. Buy it was funny later I thought about the fact that I too reacted much too friendly w a woman- I always ask the men to show me their ID and ask where the truck is parked. I just trusted this lady (she was legit but still) Worked late to just have time to sit in my office in peace and not hear that pest prattling away Took puppy for pleasant walk as it seemed warm Had simple dinner. DD was out s friends Fighting off dark sadness. Today just one meeting planned w pest aka Chaos but an email sent asking me to do something ASAP. I am so sick of her I can’t even respond yet.

Good morning bree!

My dog is the same way, she would greet anyone coming into the house with joy! Luckily she is a pit bull and just the sight of them sometimes keeps people away.
TO DO:
10 minutes on cards Start a load of laundry Start dishes soaking Delete 10 hard emails

TwinkleToes you might be struggling but you are so energetic!!! I am not! I feel so mentally and physically exhausted. I am dreading my afternoon meeting w Chaos Chais is annoyed w me because she told a roomful of people I was working on a particular project when the funding is not even confirmed! I spoke up saying I was not and I was awaiting funding. Perhaps I should have just said nothing. But it is a huge and political mess project and I am not into false pretenses w a group of people. Chais called me to reprimand me - she is not one who is committed to accuracy or truth. (She used to always talk about a particular research study so one day I called her and asked for the research for a project. Turns out she had none - it was just a made up example that she freely shared all the time as real. She saw nothing wrong w this - “ it could be real”!) So chaos is still mad and said yesterday at a meeting that she can’t have people saying they are not working on projects and I said flat out I will not misrepresent my work. So long story short, I don’t look forward to speaking to her again I had two easy peasy meetings (no chaos) ended early. Did emails. Have a cat on either side of me and puppy at my feet! Cozy on this dark rainy day

Bree, I really am not energetic at all. I am literally grimacing and crying through most of this. I am so disappointed in myself with my procrastination, Ack of motivation … letting things get so bad … and I have a chronic pain illness. That doesn’t help.
I am okay. I can do this.
Thanks for the reminder about music! I completely forgot.
