cando--I am sorry that you are feeling sad about your DD and I have a little idea of what you are feeling, but only a little. My DGD and her 2 children, my first 2 great DGC, are unavailable to me after about a 5 year estrangement. Her own Mom, my DD1, did not get to see her the last 3 years of her life. DGD cut me off at the same time. HOWEVER, your loss is much greater because this is your daughter, a closer relationship. I send you hugs and I so wish that you were not going through this wretched sadness. Hugs to you; you do not deserve this. @ Peaceseeker, Hoping you feel better and your distressing symptoms ease up. Especially the neuropathy. That is a hard- to- live -with affliction. Diane, I'm glad your stressful appointment is over. I hope the x-rays are helpful to you. bree---That puppy is going to outwit you yet. I can tell you love her so much !! So pleased to hear that your fence has been mended, and you can forego the expense of getting a new one. That must be a relief. Enjoy your time with your DD on her break !! Today I just had to order a new Microwave, as mine broke last evening. I brushed up against the open door as I removed something from it and the bottom latch snapped off. I tried to run it and it just turns the revolving glass plate, but it can't be turned off unless I unplug it, which I did. I had not taken out a policy on it and and also would suggest that it is wise to save the original carton, which I had not done. A lesson learned. Have not accomplished much today, but I need to start getting things done. catcats

Catcats, you also have estranged family members--I'm sorry. All I can say is that it's hard sometimes to figure people out. I managed to figure out that I have 5-6 days of the dog's medication left, I have to talk to the vet and make sure she wants it to continue, then I'll probably have to get there and buy one more bottle of it and then order it from Chewy. It needs a prescription so they'll have to contact the vet--and I really want to support this vet because I know how hard it is to be a sole practitioner these days. However, the medication will cost me less than half as much if it's compounded through Chewy. Between the CBD oil and food and vet costs and now this new med, the dog expenses are 1/3 of my monthly social security check, so I need to save on this one.
This medication is sneaky, they give you a dosing syringe by dog's weight, not by how many milliliters of med you're giving. This makes it harder to switch to a different brand. However, they do give the number of mgs per pound, the number of mg per ml, and the number of ml in the bottle, so it's possible to figure out, I just don't think the average person will do that.
I went to make sure my seedlings were all hydrated last night and I can't believe that some of them are coming up already--the ones I planted just a few days ago. They are in the tray of seeds that are too early but I figured I could put them in containers. The dwarf zinnia and dwarf bachelor buttons are already up! Seeds never cease to amaze me--something the size of a grain of pepper has everything needed to create a plant 5 feet tall! Well, with the addition of moisture and nutrients from the soil, but, still! (And the baby plants are so cute!)
I'm going to stop for lunch now.

hey everypony!
Yesterday was a bust. But fortunately even though I stayed up late last night, I have been productive this morning. nothing like a deadline to get my brain to make dopamine! I want to get at least the floors done before LD and 2 get back. So grateful it is sunny this morning. we are in for another atmospheric river, I think. fortunately no fears about flooding. my town has a river running through it, but completely rebuilt the bed to accommodate floods with a "living river" design a decade ago.
an old friend texted me this morning. she lives in the next town! I am hoping she will want to get together, as one of my goals is to expand my friendship circle...
DONE: coffee stripped sheets made bed booted laundry got dressed took out compost took out trash and recycling checked online balance checked email checked calendar checked notifications
okay I had better get going before I crash

ohblondie Congrats on scoring a neat winter coat. I love thrift stores and find it super easy to overspend. My payvheck did not go into my direct deposit again this week, so I have to make the 45 minute drive to my work and pick it up. I can alos log into the computer in the break room and check my schedule. My managet texted me today to remind me to come to work. I had to remind ehr that I am still off. Predictably, I didn't get half of my stuff done yesterday. I got my froend to go with me, but we always get so distracted. Here it today's plan: | Call | Go | Do | Chromebook & Smartphone | Old YMCA --see if I need to go down there
IT--help with getting OUtlook for home use Community care--authorization for acupuncture Reschedule mammogram Comcast Affirm NDR Old heath insurance company Hospital wellness program Set up appointment with GP insurance network
| Old YMCA New YMCA Staples
Laundry Auto parts store Goodwill
Old job--pick up check
Currency exchange CVS Post office New bank
Work-
- Pick up check
- Check schedule
- Straighten out direct deposit
| Clean under table Vacuum Sweep Put out trash bin Change dishwasher Pack my swim bag for next week | Finish first trauma chapter Start second trauma chapter GEt my next week work schedule Tell new preceptor when I will be able to train Adjust clinical days in FISDAP Finish setting my med alarms (in process) Pay some bills Change title on inotropic blog post Outline what I know about electrical conduction in the heart for nest blog post Do a budget for April Design simple morning and evening routines to make sure I get what I need each day (in process) | Taking a few minutes each morning to check in and think about what I have to get done today makes a big difference in my day. I may not get everything done, but I am getting enough done that I can see some progress in my life.
Thank you all for being such a supportive community. i wish you all a very joyous and peaceful Friday and St Pat's Day. |

The workday is done!!! I am celebrating by lounging on the couch for a little bit with two cats snuggled to me for my lunch today, I went to the grocery store and bought a lot of stuff -more than I usually get -because DD will be home for break! and I don’t want her to walk around and say there’s nothing to eat! I nought her treats and I also have to make meals again, so I bought some stuff to cook some dinners I have a little bit of time before I have to pick puppy up so I’m gonna do some housework soon but for the moment I’m just chilling out seems like it’s been a long week This will be a quiet St. Patrick’s Day for me! usually at the very least I cook corn beef for DD or we get together with others, but it’s cozy rainy Irish kind of day here so I’ll just sit tight do some Netflix tonight ohblondie Jeans the fall off are the very best jeans of all congrats Diane Glad your x-ray is over and went well I have to become more OCD I can’t believe I just walked out the door with this crazy puppy unleashed! catcats I do love this crazy pup she’s so sweet and funny but she really does drive me crazy half the time

Good afternoon scholar and erin!
I had to take the dog out twice, we went out and she did nothing, it was so chilly we finally went back inside. Then, a little later, she remembered she had to go...so we went out again and she did what she needed to do.
Next:
10 minutes on plants 10 minutes on paper Wash some dishes Delete 10 hard emails

I got a lot done !! I took the clothes that are not fitting at the moment---they fit fine 20 pounds ago---and packed them neatly into some organizer cubes and zipped them up. Nice to get the cubes out of the den too. Threw away junk and put away numerous plastic bags that were in bedroom. That one side of my bedroom was slopsville. It is so neat now, although the cubes need to be relocated. Vacuumed most of bedroom. Looks so much better. This was part of my late winter (?) challenge. However, I confess---the PT lady is coming next Tuesday and there are usually bed exercises. I was doing it so future me would not be so embarrassed. Fixed a light supper and fed my boy cats. I skipped the cat pans today----a very rare thing for me to skip. No laundry needed or done, although I should have unloaded the dryer. I am pleased with what I got done though. The kitchen is cleaned up too, so I can rest a while. Yippee ! And ohblondie ---a woohoo for you for getting stuff out of the house ! catcats P.S. I guess it's the early Spring Challenge., not Late Winter Challenge.

Counting this afternoon as a win. I left work early and went to city hall to donate blood. I had not pre registered but some folks failed to show up so they squeezed me in. I some some friends and was able to chat before during and after. I the went home and grabbed a random glass that needed to go in the box of glasses I was donating. My mom had kept a small one but was done with it. I ran it through the dishwasher and stuck it in the box. I got to school and a gaggle of young men swarmed my car and helped unload it . My daughter wanted the ironing board so I held that back in the car. I never got anything from my house but, there will be future sales
I went to my parents and organized all of my st Patrick's day things (I will have to add to the bin the items that are at my parents. Then that bin goes downstairs.
I pulled together Easter items for my mom and dad. I will swap out holidays over the weekend.
I finished trying to descale the Keurig. But the light is still on. Ugh. I brought it home so DH can have coffee tomorrow. And I just realized I left the cream for me at my parents house.
I have the dishwasher loaded and I might run it even though it isn't completely full. I got up early to make a treat to take to work and I want to wash my mixing bowl so that I can put mixer away.
I made a delicious hot Reuben dip that was very well received by my coworkers. I will have to make it again. So simple. Chopped corned beef. Swiss cheese, sour cream, cream cheese, sauerkraut and thousand island dressing. Mix, put in shallow dish and bake for 20 mins. Once it cooked I popped it in the crockpot to stay warm.. triscuits to dip...I also brought dip chips. Yummy
For some unknown reason I just had a full blown panic attack. No idea why. I was at my parents doing things. Hmmm. I am better now. Winder what that was all about. I wonder if it had to do with giving blood?
Snow storm pushed our trash pickup out two days til tomorrow. Both cans are at the curb. And both are FULL!!!
Ok. Going to start the dishwasher then gather laundry.
